Dental Veneers

Veneers are paper-thin porcelain laminates designed to cover your teeth to improve their colour, appearance and shape. Since every patient has a unique set of teeth, veneers are custom-made.

Approximately ½ millimetres of enamel is removed from the surface of each tooth before a veneer can be bonded to that tooth. Your veneered teeth will therefore be the same thickness as your natural teeth.

Porcelain veneers are durable, stain-resistant restorations that have a high resemblance to natural tooth enamel. Used to lighten the colour of a stained tooth, they can also be used to fill a gap between teeth, align overlapping teeth, or strengthen worn down, chipped and cracked teeth.

Not everyone is a good candidate for veneers. Ask us if veneers are a good option for you.
